Walt Disney Ticket Price – 5 Important Tips to Make Savings

A stunning price increase in Walt Disney ticket price has recently been implemented by Disneyland. The price for 1-day, 1-park ticket went up by as much as $4 difference from $75 to $79. The current price for ages 10 and up is $41 at Disney Quest, and for ages 10 and up, the price is $45 at any of the water parks.

At the same time, it offers more value for your money if you get the ticket good for 4 to 10 days stay at the theme parks. That means, Disney encourages you to have fun and enjoy their entertainment facilities for more than a day to avail of some savings in the Walt Disney ticket price. Here are some tips for you to make substantial savings in your purchase of Walt Disney ticket:

First, if you intend to stay longer in any of the non-theme parks, you can choose the Water Park Fun & More to have multiple visits to these attractions. But if you only intend to have 1 visit to a water park, the $52 additional cost of Walt Disney ticket price may not be worth it. This $52 option may be applicable if you plan to visit both parks.

Second, the 10-day option looks more attractive even if you’re not planning to use all the 10 days at all. The reason for this is that even if you don’t use the other days, you can avail of Disney’s “No Expiration” privilege if you want. If you don’t take advantage of this option, your Magic Your Way ticket will expire 14 days after your first use.

Third, if your ticket is good for 10 days with No Expiration at the Water Park Fun and Park Hopper options, that would give you an advantage of 10 theme park-hopping passes with additional 10 water park tickets valued at Walt Disney ticket price of $554. If you calculate that on per day basis, the price is only $28 per ticket.

That means you have 5 days for use in your vacation now, and the balance of 5 days can be used for the next trip.

Fourth, even if Disney has already stopped giving discount on advance ticket purchase, it still makes sense to buy your ticket in advance to avoid the long queue during your vacation time, or making wrong decisions at an impulse like delay in the delivery of your ticket, or no availability of slots on specific days that you have chosen.

Fifth, the Walt Disney ticket price Base is set at 1-day, 1-park and for 3-day option, you get 1-park per day good for 3 days at $219, or a savings of $18. If you want to visit several parks per day, you can choose the Park Hopper option.

You can have fun at the Animal Kingdom early in the morning, followed by a visit to the Magic Kingdom at the middle of the day, and drop at the Hollywood Studios later in the afternoon. The price is only $52 additional from the Base Ticket price of $79 which is good for unlimited number of days.
